6 I have set up PHP, MySQL, and Apache. localhost() for PHP and it is working well. The mysql_* functions are deprecated. I know that PHP 7.0 deprecated the mysql_connect function in favor of mysqli_connect... but what do I need to do to fix this? It seems to be an issue with /wp-includes/wp-db.php:1520. So this means that I'd have to edit a core file? Doesn't the mean that it'll get replaced next time I upgrade WordPress? I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 on a VPS if that helps.
