I tried creating a test VPN connection on his laptop but received the same error. So it doesn't look like his vpn connection is corrupted. I tried googling it but not much help. The error message now when I try to connect is 500: The remote connection was not made because cannot connect the the attempted VPN tunnels failed. The VPN server might be unreachable. If this connection is attempting to use an L2TP/IPsec tunnel, the security parameters required for IPsec negotiation might not be configured properly. Obviously you are using some kind of VPN connection. What is it? Please note that regardless of your VPN connection, it has little or nothing to do with UltraVNC as far as I understand. Is your machine part of an organizational network? Should you be asking your network administrator?
