I tried fixing it according to the advice on this website...but no luck. If I put a NEW cartridge in it seems to be fine....but it's vERY expensive. Please help me. I'm in a very isolated place. I have now got a new problem "PUT IN CARTRIDGE" cartridges are in, but will not print. I have taken cartridges out & back in but get same problem. I have hade this once before I switched printer off & puled the plug out for a day, it did not com back till now about 3 months later I have tried the switching off & puling the plug out but doesn't seam to work this time. any subjections?. by derekawilson on Dec 25, 2009 at 1:26pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 If the printer is only 8 weeks old and is indicating that the waste pads are full you must have done a lot of printing. If you haven't done that much printing, then the warranty might cover your error. by Stephen on Aug 7, 2005 at 8:39am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Have done a veritable $hitload of printing.... but should I not be able to? by unknown on Aug 7, 2005 at 5:26pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Every Canon Pixma has a certain number of pages and/or cleaning cycles

However I have not changed the print head, and I have changed the cartridges but the same messages still come up as well as the red warning light flashing at me. How can I fix this. Submitted: 4 years ago. Category:Printers Share this conversation Expert: Richard replied4 years ago. Hi. I am Rick. I will be your expert. There are only a couple of things that http://www.justanswer.com/printers/5rwun-canon-pixma-mp110-printer-keeps-giving-put-cartridge.html can cause this. Lets take the easy one first. Remove the cartridges. Use a q-tip with a little alcohol to clean the contact points on both the cartridges and in the carrier. When everything is completely dry replace the cartridges and see if it prints for you. Let me know how it goes. Ask Your Own Printers Question Customer: replied4 years ago. I replaced both cartridges with new ones, and unclipped print head while cartridges were out. Did not seem dirty in an y way, but no alcohol to clean so guessing a bit. Whsat else is there Expert: Richard replied4 years ago. You can use a bit of warm water to clean them. If we go with the idea that they are clean there are only 2 possibilities left. You either have cartridges that have defective chips in them and you would need to exchange them or you have a defective printhead and you will need to replace the pritheads. These are the only possibilites that would give you that error. Richard, Technician Category: Printers Satisfied Customers: 5359 Experience:AAS Degree in Computer Technology.
