road in inkjet-based printing. One path is the HP-based Pizeo-electric crystal approach. A Pizeo-crystal vibrates when electricity is applied to it. This creates canon mp560 printhead a push and pull of the ink to the media. Contrast this to the Canon bubble jet system. Imagine if you will on an ultra-fine scale, the rubber nipple on a baby bottle. If you have ever overheated https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Printer-Multifunction-Support/error-b200/td-p/217 a baby's bottle, you have already experienced the baby's forthcoming meal shooting out the top of the nipple like some miniature Mount Vesuvius. While the thermodynamic law in a baby bottles application is messy and annoying, Canon engineers use the principle for printing. In comparison to HP ink, the ink supply for a Canon printer is much thicker and more like oil, almost tar like. Behind the nipple is an electrical resistor that produces heat. Therefore, the same http://www.mytechtime.com/2011/09/canon-error-b200-how-to-fix-it.html thermodynamic laws apply, and a droplet of ink 'bubbles out' of the nozzle. The resistor needs electricity from a high-voltage section and feedback from the printhead about what is going on in the active bubble land. When something has gone awry in this sub process, the canon b200 error error occurs. Canon b200 Error, Troubleshooting Replace ink cartridges if they are empty At the risk of stating the obvious (frequently not so obvious in the heat of the moment), find out if the ink cartridges are empty. When in doubt, try a new cartridge to fix canon error b200.A data cable of print head is open Did you just replace an ink cartridge? Perhaps you shifted a data cable to the print head.Bad power adapter Is the power supply (internal or external) failing to generate enough electrical juice to get the resistors hot enough for the laws of thermodynamics to occur (creating a bubble of ink).Replace printhead if it is damaged or not a part of the ink cartridge It should be noted that for the Canon printers that use a separate (not integrated) printhead, there is a finite lifespan to the dozens of microsizedbaby bottle nipples. Just like the kids bottle, the rubber/silicon nozzle does wear out.Turn off the printer for some time In other troubleshooting tips here at printerspecial.blogspot.com we have advised any inkjet printer not see

So, I highly recommend buying only from legitimate vendors if you opt to refill or use remanufactured ink cartridge Troubleshooting Guide – How to Fix Error B200? Phase #1: Turn off the printer and unplug from the power source. Open the printer cover to reveal canon pixma mp560 the ink cartridges. Remove the Pixma MP560 cartridges - PGI-220BK and CLI-221. an error code appeared: B200. After doing a little research, I understand that this is a High Voltage temperature concern with the only option given is to replace the Printhead. I tried unplugging it from the power source overnight and then plugged it back in this morning but with no change. With the price of a new printhead being $86. and the price of a brand new MX882 costing only $129, I was wondering if I shouldn't simply purchase a new printer. Is this a common problem with these printers? Is there a better printer to get for home/studio use that will last longer? Respond to this 0 I am having the same issue so I will be following this discussion to see if anyone responds by txchilichef on Jul 2, 2011 at 11:55am Add comment Please sign in to comment solution worked partly thank you - gillysden Turn OFF Power2. Open the print head bay (as though you were about to change inks)3. Turn ON power4. Wait for print carriage to start moving to the left and let it go past half way5. Before print carriage reaches left hand side (but after going halfway across) shut the cover.6. Leave the Printer turned on7. Took me a half dozen times of near starts but it kicked in and the old work horse works perfect again.Canon tech support blamed it on generic ink "of course" ... they basically said that short of spending $200 on a new ink head I'd be better off buying a new printer. - rschechner 0 Have the same problem with a Pixma MX860, approx 1.5 yrs old. by hnb on Oct 15, 2011 at 2:00pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Same sudden problem. All research points to high voltage temperature error requiring Printhead replacement. Thanks to Artist59 for putting a $ to that. I'll be buying a different printer rather than throwing good money after bad. by nfiacchi on Mar 25, 2012 at 8:18pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Hi,Generaly, this error means the printhead is broken. But one of these solution may solve the problem:http://fix-your-printer.blogspot.frGood luck ! by Jann31 on Mar 28, 2012 at 6:21am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Thanks Jann31, that blog really helped. Unplugged it, removed all cartridges, removed print head, took a qtip and alcohol and cleaned chip and contacts on printhead and inside the printer. Waited about an hour, put it all back together and it worked. Not sure what did it, but something did. I had tried turning off and
