Usually happens with smart media. I have had this with an old fujifilm finepix read error 4700 fuji digital camera. Just go and format the card from within the camera settings and the card will be fine.Howiemj seo wrote:Hi,I bought Fuji 2600 last May. It has been working fine until last month. Did you format using the function / menu option in the camera or using you PC? Majority of the times, memory cards formatted using DOS on your PC will not be recognized by your camera. Also check to see if the memory if full. If it is full, you will get write errors. Otherwise your memory card might be defective. and X-E2S > Medium Format Fuji Announced! Dismiss Notice XE-2 Card Write Error w SanDisk SDXC 64GB card Discussion in 'X-E1, X-E2, and X-E2S' started by djk_x, http://www.fujix-forum.com/threads/xe-2-card-write-error-w-sandisk-sdxc-64gb-card.21633/ Apr 2, 2014. djk_x New Member Messages: 15 Likes Received: 0 Location: concord, ma http://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x100t/appendix/warning_messages/index.html -Return to Top- Anyone else having problems with write errors with the XE-2 and a SanDisk SDXC 64GB card? I had problems the first day I got the camera, so I reformatted the card in the camera and the problem went away for a while. Yesterday I updated the firmware to 1.2 on the camera, card error wiped the card and reformatted it in the camera. I shot for about 30 photos and then the write error prevented any further writing to the card. I'm worried because the XE-2 has other software problems too... wrong timestamp... but this problem is a killer... if the camera just stops writing while shooting that's a big problem.... I guess I'd need to carry multiple cards when using the camera... I memory card error like using a large card since RAW images gobble up card memory. Do you think I have a defective camera? Is their a support number at Fuji I can call to discuss? p.s. I see a thread on this subject from June 2013 on the XE-1, but not much discussion since then...and no comments about write errors on the XE-2. Blazer, Apr 2, 2014 #2 Cory Boehne Member Messages: 81 Likes Received: 15 Location: New Mexico -Return to Top- I had this issue with a 16GB micro-sd extreme pro from Sandisk in my X100s - I'm suspicious that it was just a contact problem, as I'd get the error, remove and reinsert the card, and it would work again. Not a huge deal until you're shooting video, then it's a pretty big deal. I grabbed a regular SD extreme and everything has been fine so far.
