I figured out A3 has nothing to do with display. Now the question is why is the diag_vga blue light on with no display. Does this mean the DVI port is dead? m 0 l donw

The GP diagnostic card shows error F.F, which I googled to mean "CPU not installed". The card error other machine has done this ever since it was built. If I turn off the mains switch or unplug the machine, it WILL turn on again, as long as I have left it off for more than 20 minutes or so. If I try to turn it on again sooner then I get F.F.If I suspend/sleep (S3) I can resume within a minute or so. If I leave it longer then I cannot resume: yep, F.F.The card error code only thing I can think of is that the memory I'm using isn't on the QVL. Could it be causing this? Could the MOBOs be broken or have an intrinsic fault?Once it is up and running the system is fine. Prime 95 runs good, no overheating, no overclocking, I have the latest BIOS (0507). Mine arrived in 4 days, flashed and ready to go FROM THESE PEOPLE. Edit Reply Quote & Reply ASUS P6T6 WS Revoluti

Is this something I can use as a "regular" user; meaning, while the computer is connected normally or is it only for test benches and open-top rigs without a case per se? The card has some cool LEDs (for MoBo temps?) and it's just sitting in my MoBo case so I would like to use it. Anyone use one of these before? What's its purpose? To "diagnose" what? #1 Baasha, Feb 10, 2011 techs Lifer Joined: Sep 26, 2000 Messages: 28,567 Likes Received: 0 I'm not familiar with that. Does it fit into a pci slot? It reminds me of a "post card" bios diagnosis card. Like this one that I use in my shop: http://www.amazon.com/Soyo-Computer-.../dp/B000234U3I #2 techs, Feb 10, 2011 denis280 Diamond Member Joined: Jan 16, 2011 Messages: 3,326 Likes Received: 2 HI! it is a post card.the led will tell you whats wrong. #3 denis280, Feb 26, 2011 pete1229 Senior member Joined: Feb 12, 2011 Messages: 325 Likes Received: 0 That's actually a pretty handy tool to have when you need to diagnose any problems you may have with your mobo. The numbers display an error code then all you need to do is research what a particular code refers to and the fix for it. You only need to insert it into an available pci slot when needed. BTW what is the mobo model number? #4 pete1229, Feb 26, 2011 (You must log in or sign up to pos
