I just bought a 2007 Ford Fusion not more than 3 weeks ago and upon attempting to load my in-dash CD changer for the very first time to use it, on loading the last disk, I got an error message before the system advised me to load the disk and the whole thing has locked me out. I try to eject the other disks and they won't http://cardealerforums.com/alt-autos-ford/t29773-6-cd-changer-issue-load-eject-cd-errors.html eject, they won't play, and I cannot load the last one. I get LOAD ERROR, EJECT ERROR and CD ERROR any time I attempt to do anything. I put in only store-bought CD's too. The dealer told me that these changers take a beating, however, this is a brand new car and the CD player has never been used before. This is the very first attempt and it fails. So, for them to say that, I disagree with them. Has anyone else had this problem with these Audiophile radio/6CD changers and how many times did you have to replace your radios? I have a bad feeling about this after digging up a bit of research over this weekend and I kind of get the feeling that this car will be going back to the dealer again in the near future for the same exact issue again, after they replace the original radio. If they fail that easily, who is to say that it is not going to do that same thing again? Comments? Solutions? I have a 6-year 72k warranty, so it is covered, but that is not the point. I'm almost prepared to get used to that fact and the radios

I had trouble with one of those sometime ago. Can't remember if I got a CD error or not though. The home made CD would not eject nor would it or any other CDs in the changer play. I got it out with a needle nose pliers that has a long thin tip. When you press eject, see if you can see the edge of the CD when the door opens. If so, try to coax the CD out with a needle nose or tweezers. Hope this helps. rrgone, December 30, 2006 #2 IAmTodd 4x Explorer Veteran Joined: April 8, 2002 Messages: 8,893 Likes Received: 1 Trophy Points: 48 City, State: Johnstown, PA Year and Model: 2001 Jeep Cherokee Engage the Radio(FM). Press buttons 3 and 6 together. Puts the radio into test mode. Press one. Should say something like test pass or something. Then press 2. Should display and DTCs stored in the radio. 2015 VW Jetta SEL TDI 6MT 2001 Jeep Cherokee Rubicon Express 4.5 lift IAmTodd, December 30, 2006 #3 rockfisherman New M

Before I go ripping it apart, anyone got a suggestion for this? I can't load, unload, change, or play CD's. It just says "CD ERROR" on the display and reverts back to the radio. + 0 - #2 07-14-2006 zabeard who? iTrader: (8) I am: Zach Beard Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: IN Vehicle: 2003 Ford Ranger Drive Type: 4wd Engine: 5.4 Posts: 26,041 Total Props: 4 that is what happened to mi
