Before I go ripping it apart, anyone got a suggestion for this? I can't load, unload, change, or play CD's. It just says "CD ERROR" on the display and reverts back to the radio. + 0 - #2 07-14-2006 zabeard who? iTrader: (8) I am: Zach Beard Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: IN Vehicle: 2003 Ford Ranger Drive Type: 4wd Engine: 5.4 Posts: 26,041 Total Props: 4 that is what happened to mine, it actually ruined a CD by scratching it. so i puleld it out and replaced it with an aftermarket unit. + 0 - #3 07-14-2006 pastfinder Member I am: Frank ... I just bought a 2007 Ford Fusion not more than 3 weeks ago and upon attempting to load my in-dash CD changer for the very first time to use it, on loading the last disk, I got an error message before the system advised me to load the disk and the whole thing has locked me out. I try to eject the other disks and they won't http://cardealerforums.com/alt-autos-ford/t29773-6-cd-changer-issue-load-eject-cd-errors.html eject, they won't play, and I cannot load the last one. I get LOAD ERROR, EJECT ERROR and CD ERROR any time I attempt to do anything. I put in only store-bought CD's too. The dealer told me that these changers take a beating, however, this is a brand new car and the CD player has never been used before. This is the very first attempt and it fails. So, for them to say that, I disagree with them. Has anyone else had this problem with these Audiophile radio/6CD changers and how many times did you have to replace your radios? I have a bad feeling about this after digging up a bit of research over this weekend and I kind of get the feeling that this car will be going back to the dealer again in the near future for the same exact issue again, after they replace the original radio. If they fail that easily, who is to say that it is not going to do that same thing again? Comments? Solutions? I have a 6-year 72k warranty, so it is covered, but that is not the point. I'm almost prepared to get used to that fact and the r

Veröffentlicht am 27.08.2012CD player became jammed after a jump start and showed CD error, load error, and no disc. After removing the top of CD player to investigate, could see that a cd had become dislodged somehow, I carefully pushed the cd back in line with the rest of the stack then plugged it back in and it worked again as normal. Problem occurred a total of 2-3 times over span of a year or so and hasn't done it since. This quick fix gets it working again. CD not found error - (Read this for problems with CD drive after patching) Discussion in 'Civ3 - Technical Support' started by DarthS1d, Jun 15, 2004. I went to Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager->IDE controller properties->Primary or Secondary channel, depending on where your optical drive is installed, and the drive access mode was "Multi Word DMA 2". I just changed it to "Ultra DMA 2 - Ultra33" and the game detected the CD! Not sure if this is a general solution or not, but hope it helps at least some people. It was driving me crazy not being able to play! DarthS1d, Jun 15, 2004 #1 PsychO_Qc New Member Joined: Jan 1, 2005 Messages: 2 Thanks for the tip......but it won'T work in my case. Here's my situation : Just bought the Civ3 game. After playing a couple of weeks, I d/l the 1.29f patch, directly from the infoframes.com web site. PAtch installed perfectly....but now, the game asks me to insert the CD-ROM in the drive. Problem is, IT IS in the drive. Can't get the game to work properly with the damn 1.29f patch. I own the US version of the game and d/l the US
