I had gotten this over the weekend from a cd that was also a DVD. I have a stock HU and i accidentally put the disk in on the dvd side so thats what created the error. Well after hours of trying to get it out and searching the site for CD ERR FO and coming up with 2 solutions that didnt work: Holding the eject button in and unplugging the batter for atleast 30 seconds to reset the HU. Then after reading that I would have to take it in to the dealer and get it serviced, which isnt a

I recently had to deal with a problem that is apparently very common in 5.5 Gen Max's with the Bose system, The dreaded CD ERR F0 message and a completely non-functional 6 disc changer. After speaking with my dear old pops (who happens to work in the field of electronics) we decided that if the power were disconnected from the unit and it was allowed to sit for a while (sat for 45min in this case) it would reset itself. I proceeded to remove the unit from the dash (a rea

Hochgeladen am 29.05.2011By request, this is how to remove discs that are stuck in a *broken* headunit. You could be a little more careful with the springs during removal and potentially get them off without damage to them, but putting them back on would be a major PITA, and I'm assuming your unit isn't worth keeping anyway.Prying the top off yours probably won't be quite as easy, as mine had been removed once before. I've owned my '03 coupe, with an extended warranty, for a month now. The changer worked for a few weeks but I started getting the CD ERR F3 last week. I haven't used any home labeled cdr's and my cd's were not stuck, but the changer hummed and hunted before displaying the error. Now the good news. This morning I accidently held the eject button a little longer than normal. The display read "All Eject", which ejected my 3 discs in sequence. I reinserted the CDs and they both work. My buddy says this post may end up pissing off a bunch of dealers who were charging $600-$2400 to simply push the eject button. I don't know how long it will work. I don't know if it will resolve the CD ERR F0. Since I didn't see any other post mention the ALL EJECT feature, I figured it was worth mentioning. Let me know if it works for you. Good luck and tell a friend.
