This error happened one day when checksum error i switched the PC on. I get this message: Award Bootblock BIOS v1.0 BIOS ROM checksum error Detecting floppy drive A media INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER Hope anyone can help Thanks in advance. e2h, Nov 16, 2012 #1 plodr Major Geek Super Extraordinaire Hold on, don't do a thing about flashing the BIOS. Go into the BIOS and bios checksum error disable floppy drive. For some reason, it started detecting one. If that does nothing, go into BIOS and select load defaults.
