You can attempt the repair, but I've never seen one work. .sfv files help, but they must be created with the archive. Truth is, there really is no fix for a corrupt archive. I have a 57 multi-part rar archive that whenever I try to extract the file w/ WinRAR, I get this error message part44.rar: Checksum error part44.rar: Unexpected end of archive error part44.rar: Packed data checksum error I already know the file in question is corrupted but I wanted to know what I could do to fix it.
