Cmos Checksum Error Defaults Loaded Windows 7
cmos and then reboot it does a warm reboot, that is power is never completely off. Thus the cmos settings remain even if the battery is bad. But if you do a complete shutdown, having a bad battery can cause those settings to be lost. You also need to perform that operation with not power to the motherboard. So, if your PSU has an on/off switch use that to interrupt the AC power or unplug the computer from the mains.Post a full model for the computer or motherboard.
