Deployment Windows Installer (MSI) Windows Installer (MSI) Error Messages Hi All, I have developed an application using .net 2.0. . At the time of intallation in window 7 machine its giving me following citrix receiver installation failed error message: "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. this may citrix receiver the requested operation has failed indicate a problem with this package.The error code 2349". This error is not replicatiing in other Window 7 or XP can't install citrix receiver machiens. Please provide solution for this problem if any. What it is all about. Error Code : 2349 Error Description: Copy resumed with different info. But i dont know the solution for this error description. Please put some light on this. But Installation file is saved in hard disk and initiating installation from there only. Citrix has created the Receiver Clean-Up Utility to address issues with upgrading to Citrix Receiver. If you are seeing errors or the Citrix Receiver isn't working properly after installation, follow the steps below: Uninstall any older Citrix clients (see icons above) AND the Citrix Receiver. Download and run the Receiver Clean-Up Utility. (Please note, this is meant to be run AFTER you've uninstalled all Citrix clients using the above method. Everything was citrix receiver installation running smoothly with the citrix web access. now all of a sudden they were getting an error stating that when they tried to open a citrix app it did not know how to open it. It seemed to have lost its association. I checked the default programs association and it seemed fine. I then tried uninstalling the client and I couldn't, it would give me a citrix plugin error with a View Log or Close. Reading the log didn't really give me anything.So I tried logging in with a different user name to eliminate the possibility of user profile issues. Same error occurred,I then tired just reinstalling the citrix client it completed fine but then I tried opening up the citrix app and got the same thing, no association.Then I tried deleting all entries in the registry regarding citrix and then rebooted then tried reinstalling citrix.
