Citrix Receiver Unable To Launch Your Application Ssl Error 61
PM We have XenApp 6 on 2008R2 and it was working until a few days ago. Opening any published app in Windows gives this: "Unable to launch your application. Contact your help desk with the following information: Cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server. Protocol Driver error."The strange thing is that the published apps run fine from a linux box Firefox browser using the version 11 plugin. The Windows desktops with either 11 or 12 plugins / online app give the above error. I was thinking that changing the IP address of the server might have caused it, but it did work for a week before the problem above. I've tried both domain users and local anonymous users with no luck. This is just a simple single server install with Direct connections. (no Secure Gateway service)The XTE service is running (and it gives a different error if I disable XTE). There are some Reliability Server errors (Event ID 103 -in the event log - "an error occured when processing in

best describes you: IT Admin Business User DOWNLOAD Symptoms or Error citrix receiver protocol driver error windows 7 When attempting to launch an application server, the following error message is displayed: "Unable to launch your application. citrix receiver unable to launch your application cannot open the citrix receiver Contact your help desk with the following information: Cannot connect to the Citrix XenApp server. Protocol Driver error." No ICA sessions can be established to the server. Solution Solution http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/273322-unable-to-launch-your-application-protocol-driver-error/ 1 Complete the following steps on the server to recreate the ICA Listener: Open the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Terminal Services Configuration, right-click the ICA-tcp listener, and click Delete. Click Yes. Expand the Action menu and click Create New Connection. Click Next. Continue through the wizard and configure the desired settings. When the option to name the listener appears, type ICA-tcp http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX136826 in the Name field. Click Next and then click Finish. Right click ICA-tcp listener and click Properties. Select the Permissions tab and add the local account ctx_cpsvcuser. Edit the advanced permissions and select only the Query Information and Virtual Channels check boxes under the Allow column. Click OK and close the MMC. Restart the Print Spooler and Citrix Print Manager services. Solution 2 Remove App Controller as STA from NetScaler and StoreFront. Problem Cause Session Reliability is enabled in the environment and it is unable to contact the ICA Listener. The ICA Listener is no longer functioning and must be recreated. To confirm this, check the following: From the Command Prompt, run the command netstat -a. The TCP port 2598 (Session Reliability) is LISTENING but TCP port 1494 (ICA) is not displayed in the list.Examine the XTE logs at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\XTE\logs\error.log". The message "Unable to connect to the CGP tunnel destination (127.0.0.1:1494)" is repeated.
