My async card is:DESCR: "Sixteen Port Low-Speed Async" PID: NM-16AAny ideas?Regards cisco_1 CCIE #24973 Posts: 201 Joined: Fri Mar 02, 2007 5:18 am Certs: CCNP,CCSP,CCIE (R&S)#24973 Re: connection refused by remote host Sun Oct 30, 2011 1:05 am without any wireshark capture, i can say this "Connection refused" means the port on the server is closed.try to get capture or check your config .cisco_1 "Nothing Is Limited, Except Our Understanding To The Universe" azrael2000 Member Posts: 108 Joined: Mon Aug 18, 2008 3:01 pm Re: connection refused by remote host Sun Oct 30, 2011 3:10 pm Hi there. Thanks for the response.I am connecting to the console port on my switch, via the AccessServer I set up.I know the port is not closed / shutdown, as I have connected to the port directly with my console cable with no trouble. The only other thing I can think of is when I power up my Router acting as the access server is the led indicator for the corresponding connection does not go on. Which might mean an issue with the card or the cable. As I don't have any spare cards / cables, I'm kinda at a loss..Any other ideas.
