A simple way connection refused by host computer vnc to test this, is use 'telnet': telnet localhost 80 GET / HTTP/1.0 [download] Type the 'get' bit if the telnet connects, and hit enter twice, and that's a very basic test of 'is there a webserver here'. Chances are though - you'll get 'connection refused' as well - it's not your perl code that's at fault, but the webserver. You may need to use http://

On the server I'm getting the error Connection refused to host: ***; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect The calling client is getting an HTTP 500. What can I do to solve this issue? Suprisingly, the test page (get on same ip and connection refused port) works without any error. Regards Top Log in or register to post comments Wed, 2013-03-06 09:27 #2 service DHN, a calling client get a HTTP 500 to your AS2 server? And you get a connection refused error? Could you please give us some more details, that sounds confusing? Regards Top Log in or register to post comments Wed, 2013-03-06 13:36 (Reply to #2) #3 DHN Hmm, you're right. It is connection refused by confusing. I'm sorry. With "client" I mean the external partner. He is getting an HTTP 500, when executing a POST on the as2 server url. Although, he has successfully executed a GET to the url. The error I posted before is copied from the log window in the management application on the server. If you need more details, please guide me, so that I can provide them. Regards Top Log in or register to post comments Thu, 2013-03-07 11:45 #4 DHN Hmm, curious. If I disable the IP sec rules the application works as expected. Which ports do I have to open? I created an incoming (any to my ip) filter for port 9100 and an outgoing filter (my to any ip) for port 9100. Do I have to add more ports? This is my configuration file. titles only Posted by Member: Separate names with a comma. Newer Than: Search this thread only Search this forum only Display results as threads More...
