I have several hosts with Xenserver 6.5 installed. A few days ago on one of it I began to see errors while mounting NFS share from another host: mount: trying 192.168.1.8 prog 100003 vers 3 prot tcp port 2049 mount: trying 192.168.1.8 prog 100005 vers 3 prot udp port 36095 mount.nfs: Connection timed out All another hosts work perfectly. I've checked all settings on NFS server - it's OK. I'm able to mount this share using UDP protocol. But I use this share to backup my VMs and at the first night this share hanged during the backup exporting. After share was hanged only reboot can bring it back to work. The ouptup of "rpcinfo -p" command: program vers proto port 100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper 100000 2 udp 111 portmapper 100024 1 udp 600 status 100024 1 tcp 600 status I didn't see any errors related to this issue in dmesg on this host. On NFS server I see the following string in the log (192.168.1.145 - is my host with Xenserver installed): daemon.notice<29>: Jun 9 14:46:04 xnas mountd[29297]: authenticated mount request from 192.168.1.145:838 for /mnt/bigdata/xen_backup/vm_bckp (/mnt/bigdata/xen_backup/vm_bckp) 1361-365808-1878034 Back to top Andrey Rusov Members #2 Andrey Rusov 23 posts Posted 09 June 2015 - 02:17 PM Here is the link from /etc/fstab 192.168.1.8:/mnt/bigdata/xen_backup/vm_bckp/ /backup nfs rw,hard, intr, defaults 0 0 1361-365808-1878066 B
