I had this problem too and after reimporting my references it was OK. So I hope it'll solve your problem too. | Post Points: 5 parshu Pune, India Since 10/8/2002 Posts 1,964 Reputation 17,980 Reply parshuram naregal (parshu) replied on 8/25/2004 12:20 AM rated by 0 users just found a very strange thing in my reference of CrystalDecision.Windows.Form, it is referencing to old version 1.0.3300.0, if i delete the reference and set it to new one that is, 1.1.5000.0 and after that i build the project, it suddently reverts back to old version, any ideas what's happening here ??This strange error is driving me Mad :mad:TIA | Post Points: 5 victor USA Since 2/4/2003 Posts 552 Reputation 7,960 Reply victor charles (victor) replied on 8/27/2004 11:57 AM rated by 0 users Hello,I have the same problem, how do you re import the reference files? Thanks in advance. | Post Poin

I was able to run this report well in this project. But if i include it in my main project it throws an error "Invalid Report Source" and my viewer is blank but the http://forums.codeguru.com/showthread.php?341606-Invalid-Report-Source "Main Report" tab is there present. I use dataset as the datasource for my crystal report. If i use the dataset to fill my datagrid it is giving the value. So with the situation i understand that the dataset is getting filled and the report is also geting the data. The error comes in the line RptViewer.ReportSource = Rpt_Doc. '(Report Document Object) One main thing is i have not used any error handler but the code still continue to work properly without being crashed. If i give 'Try catch' error handler also i the same error is only prompted. The main project was first developed in vs.net 2000 and the project was upgraded to 2003. Will this be the reason for the report being giving the error Attached Images Reply With Quote May 19th, 2005,01:35 AM #2 mail_viji_2000 View Profile View Forum Posts Junior Member Join Date Mar 2005 Posts 15 Re: Invalid Report Source I got the solution through one of my friend. she got it from another friend. CrystalDecisions.Windows.Form resource will not "pick" the 2003 (9.5) version. All the other CR resources are at 9.5 with the "forms" staying at 9.1. Thanks for the idea. Dana.
