have VS2010 Premium running on Windows 7 64. I am trying to install Crystal Reports, which I have downloaded from SAP and I have both CRforVS_13_0 and CRforVS_13_0_1. Both give the same error: "Error 2753. The File "agent.exe.6ED28686_7B19_42oC_B255_5B6C1BD2C705"is not marked for installation." Does anyone know how to get around or fix this? Thanks for looking. Reboot and then reinstall and it should work. Also, use SP1 - CRforVS_13_0_1 - Service Packs do an uninstall and install the update so putting 13_0 on first won't help at all. Thank you Don Don Williams Thursday, July 07, 2011 6:17 PM 0 Sign in to vote Hi Don, I'll give that a try. But I do have one question. when you say "use SP1 - CRforVS_13_0_1", is there a file specifically called"SP1 - CRforVS_13_0_1" or did you just mean "CRforVS_13_0_1"? Thanks a bunch for the help Thursday, July 07, 2011 8:37 PM 0 Sign in to vote The last number will be the Service Pack "_1" in the file name. Thanks DonDon Williams Thursday, July 07, 2011 9:00 PM 0

I've even followed some advice about putting the installer files in c:\cr4vs2010 but to no avail. The customer I'm developing for has Crystal skills so no other reporting engine will do. EDIT Found out about the FLEXnet transformer that fixes the above error. However, on completion of the install I get an error "The operation could not be completed" in a dialog box headed "Visual Studio". visual-studio-2010 crystal-reports share|improve this question edited Jul 26 '12 at 16:40 asked Jul 26 '12 at 15:07 Richard 127215 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote accepted I've fixed it I think. I now have Crystal Templates. To fix. Get the Flexera tool at http://kb.flexerasoftware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=Q207355&sliceId= Run the tool as instructed and install the two msi's using it. I did the VS install first, then the 64-bit runtime. After getting the "The operation could not be completed" error and installing both msi's, open up the Visual Studio Command prompt, ensuring you

The problem occurs whether I launch it from the menu (Windows 7 64 bit) or by dbl clicking a report. This is a new occurrence for me, I've been using this product, in the current configuration, on this laptop for 5 months without any problems. I can't say exactly when this began as I haven't had to use it for about 3 weeks before yesterday. Yesterday and today I cannot get the program to even complete loading. It will display the splash screen and then display the opening window. But at that point the cursor just shows it's busy and nothing can be done with the program. I cannot click any of the menu items, cannot minimize the window, nor can I close it with the "X". I have let it run for upwards of 45 minutes and nothing changes. I have to kill the process in task manager to end the program. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, to the same end.Any ideas what I might be running into? Thanks in advance for any and all ideas/help. I appreciate them.Todd Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Right-click on crw.exe and go to Properties.3. Go to the Compatibility tab and turn on "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and then select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" from the drop-down.-Dell DecisionFirst Technologies - a Proviti Enterprise 9-Time SAP BusinessObjects Partner of the Year. www.decisionfirst.com IP Logged CaptnTony Newbie Joined: 15 Jun 2012 Location: United States Online Status: Offline Posts: 11 Posted: 20 Sep 2012 at 9:03am Will try that.
