If you check the version of the CRDB_ORACLE.DLL, what version is it? Regards,Jonathan Like (0) Re: The database DLL 'crdb_oracle' could not be loaded. Guest Sep 10, 2009 9:45 PM (in response to John Christy) Currently Being Moderated Hi, John;Right, so that version of the dll came from the full version of Crystal Reports 10. Crystal Reports 10.2, the .NET bundled version does not come with that dll, as it does not support a native connection to Oracle.

developed by Business Objects, Inc. for the Windows Operating System. The latest known version of Crdb_oracle.dll is 11.0.0.1282, which was produced for Windows 7. This DLL file carries a popularity rating of https://scn.sap.com/thread/1467045 1 stars and a security rating of "UNKNOWN". What Are DLL Files? DLL ("dynamic link library") files such as crdb_oracle.dll are small programs, similar to EXE ("executable") files, which allow multiple software programs to share the same functionality (eg. printing). For example, let's say you are running Windows 7 and editing a document in Microsoft Word. The DLL file that controls printing does not need http://www.solvusoft.com/en/files/missing-not-found-error/dll/windows/business-objects-inc/crystal-reports/crdb-oracle-dll/ to load unless it's function is needed - eg. you decide to print your document. When you select "Print", Microsoft Word calls the printer DLL file, and it is loaded into memory (RAM) at that time. If you want to print a document in another program, Adobe Acrobat for example, that same printer DLL file will be used as well. Why Do I Have DLL Errors? Because they are shared files, DLL files exist outside of the software application itself. Although this provides many benefits for software developers, this separation also provides an opportunity for problems to occur.Quite simply, if Windows cannot properly load your crdb_oracle.dll file, you will encounter an error message. Please see "Causes of crdb_oracle.dll Errors" below for more information. When Do DLL Errors Occur? DLL errors, such as those associated with crdb_oracle.dll, most often occur during computer startup, program startup, or while trying to use a specific function in your program (eg. printing). Common Crdb_oracle.dll Error Messages The most common crdb_oracle.dll errors that can appear on a Windows-based computer are: "Crdb_oracle.dll not found." "The file crdb_oracle.dll is missing." "Crdb_oracle.dll Access Violation." "Cannot register crdb_oracle.dll." "Cannot find %COMMONFILES%\Business Objects\3.0\bin\crdb_oracle.

Cause This problem occurs due to missing crystal report or incompatible database driver files on the computer. Resolution First make sure that the Oracle Client is installed on the computer where Report Commander is running, and that you can connect to the database used in the report using an Oracle client (such as SQL Plus). Next search your computer for "oci.dll". If this file is could not be not found, the Oracle Client is not properly installed; you need to reinstall it. If more than one copy of this DLL is found, check the settings of the PATH environment variable to determine which copy will be found first by the system (this will be the copy whose path appears ahead of the others in the PATH environment variable). Be sure that this copy of the DLL is the right version for the version of the Oracle Client that is installed, and for the version of Oracle running on the server.
