Launch command prompt and run the following command.>msdtc -install>net start msdtc Then try re-install IIS. This problem is related to the previous topic. Try running Distributed Transaction Coordinator, uninstall/install IIS, and access to your asp page. Reply Bansal Nitin 5 Posts Re: IIS 7.5 Issue '/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/ ....' Oct 04, 2012 05:23 AM|Bansal Nitin|LINK I used Web Setup wizard to create my setup project. IIS 6 Compatibility is already enabled on system [using windows 7] , Now question is How can i check "Metabase Explorer to check whether /LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT exists" ?? If not exists How can i resolve this ? Reply lextm 6598 Posts MVP Re: IIS 7.5 Issue '/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT/ ....' Oct 04, 2012 06:57 AM|lextm|LINK First, try to avoid using Web Setup wizard in the future. Microsoft no longer bundles it in Visual Studio 2012, and recommends users migrate to other solutions. Second, Metabase Explorer is part of IIS 6 Resource Kit, so please download the installer and install it. Then you can read the help file installed to study how to use Metabase Explorer. Web Setup wizard still thinks IIS stores configuration in metabase, so using Metabase Explorer you can examine IIS 7 in the same way. W3SVC/1/ROOT is used for default web site. Have you removed it? Then you need to recreate it, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7
