Dcom Got Error 1326 And Was Unable To Logon In Order To Run The Server
On this specific machine the OS is Windows 2008 R2. We have many other installations with this operating system and where we have not seen this error. The problem is that after a reboot or a restart of the service that is calling these DCOM objects we occassionally have event ID 10004 which says logon failed for the user controlling dcom got error "1909" and was unable to logon the DCOM object. I can fix the problem just by going to the dcom object and type in the password for the user. Then I can restart the service and the DCOM object is loaded. I can restart the service or reboot just after retyping the password for the user under Identity for the DCOM object, but after a day I have the problem again. I was thinking that some policies from the domain was putthe server, but I have not found any proof for this. I know that there is a policy from the AD that a local user is not allowed to logon to a service, but there has been created a GOP thatallows the specific loacl user to logon to a service. If we did notdo this then our services could not start after a reboot and I have to do the same for the service by retyping the password for the starting user. I was thinking that there could be a similar policy for the dcom but I have not found anyone. Does anyon
