My grandson turned it off and it didn't shut down correctly. When I tried to log on it wouldn't start and kept giving me a blank screen. I ran McAfee and CCleaner which didn't find any problems. I did system repair and system restore. My browser redirects me to random sites which include "Search Nu". I can't access Safe Mode either. My daughters were using the computer and I don't know if they downloaded a virus while installing games. At this point I am afraid to use my computer and make changes to it. I also don't know very much about computers and need simple instructions. Could someone please help me find out if my computer is infected or safe to use?
