Software Question 0 Sign in to vote I just got the following error in my log after shutting down, moving a hard drive from an event id 10005 dcom error 1084 older computer to my Home Server and then powering back up. I have no idea what StiSvc is or how to fix the problem. I've rebooted 3 times and get the same message each time. StiSvc is apparently part of either the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) system service or the Still Image Service."The Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) system service provides image acquisition services for scanners and cameras.
