On the SBS I 03837521-098b-11d8-9414-505054503030 have the following event: Event 10006, DistributedCOM DCOM got error 2147944122 from the computer comp1.[domain].local when attempting to activate the server 8bc3f05e-... Source: DistributedCOM Computer: comp1.[domain].local I did not find https://community.spiceworks.com/windows_event/show/83-dcom-10006 the ID 8bc3f on the SBS but on comp2 in the registry which says (Default) Windows Management and Instrumentation LocalService winmgmt I did go through many posts but it seems 10006 is a rather generic error and I was not able to pinpoint the issue yet. Any help is appreciated. Our system originally started with Windows Server 2003 machines and eventually over time expanded and grew. We still have a few Server 2003's but they're being removed. Our domain controllers were recently upgraded from Server 2003 to Server 2012 R2 this summer. While attempting to manage a remoter computer from the MMC snap in for Active Directory Users and Computers, the server at times is unable to open Computer Management for the remote workstation.
