I follow the instructions in this discussion and successfully connected to my other computers with Windows 7, but I cannot synchronize the clock on the DOS computer. for the Error 5 access denied. And I have implemented the suggestions from those posts. Now I am getting a new error message on the DOS client: Error 50: This request is not supported by the network. On the DC security logs I can see a succesfull login for the domain account being used, but there is an imediate logoff recorded after that. Any ideas? June 21st, 2010 9:49pm Hello, starting with Windows server 2003 the security settings have been increased from Microsoft, so that by default no connections are longer possible from DOS for example. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. June 22nd, 2010 4:36am Ok I fixed this one on my own. There was nothing wrong with the settings on the server side. It was the client. There was something in the system.ini that was causing problems. I'm not sure what line was causing the issue as I made a new file from scratch.
