I am able to get the internet on both but not file sharing? On one, it shows up under network places but the other just hangs and beeps when I try to open it. So, after hours searching the web, I found that the problem was most likely (I think) that the computer http://forums.practicallynetworked.com/showthread.php?1324-Unable-to-start-Computer-Browser-Error-1068 that hangs will not allow me to use the start tab under computer browser in management. I get "Could not start the Computer Browser service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start". If anyone can held out I would GREATLY appreciate their help. Thanks! Not sure I understand what "Server service and Workstation service" are, any help on this topic woul

What are the names of the services you are dealing with? Double click the service - go to the "Dependencies" tab - Check the service names list under "This service depends on the following system components" and then make sure that all the services listed there are already started. For example, if you're trying to start a service which has dependency on "Windows firewall" service, you need to first make sure Windows firewall service is STARTED.
