I used to be able to connect to the internet before with no problems. 2 wks ago, the Wireless connection started http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/26306-42-dhcp-client-service-start-error-1068 showing "LIMITED CONNECTIVITY", though, it can see all the wifi networks available in the area. Other computers and wifi enabled devices can all connect easily to the same network. I've tried the following solutions(from the forums) already: -re-installing drivers, disabling-enabling network adapters -made sure the passwords are correct -disabling firewalls -turning on-off (5mins) the router +PC -removing and reloading the network -scanned software/hardware for problems thru built in "vaio care" (indicated that everything is running normally) I also tried http://www.sevenforums.com/network-sharing/197132-limited-connectivity-dhcp-client-not-starting.html to run the Network Diagnostics but this error msg always appear= "The Diagnostics Policy Service is not running."- even if i run it as an administrator.. Checked the Local Services and found out that DHCP Client is not running- Tried starting it several times but it won't start and this error msg always appear "Windows could not start the DHCP CLient service on local Comp. Error 5: Access is denied." I'd appreciate any help/assistance/idea from anyone. Been trying to sort this one out for 4 days now, and still found no solution. Thanks for taking time in reading this. Maybe it all started some weeks ago, when there was difficult connection? - if I booted my PC when the router was already on, I needed to switch off and then on to gain internet connection and access. The PC has 2 connection, one wired and another wireless, and noone works. Tried unplugging wireless USB dhcp client service connection and disabling wired one; then installed a new NIC but nothing changed - no internet connection; so restored previous hardware configuration - onboard lan & wireless USB. Other devices connect to internet without any issues using same router (PCs, smartphones, ...). System tray connection status is always trying to get network address. Ipconfig command reports IP address 0.0.0.0. Tried Microsoft Support methods, run MicrosoftEasyFix50562 and MicrosoftFixit50267 without issue resolution. It seems an issue like one described in post http://www.techspot.com/community/t...cp-wont-start-error-1068-dhcp-afd-sys.182903/, but FRST logs posted yesterday, examined by malware expert in Virus and Malware Removal Forum, don't reveal anything malicious. Can anyone suggest me what to do, possibly without reinstalling o.s., please...? I have shut down the modem and router/wireless router several times. I can see my wireless signal but just can not connect. I type in IPCONFIG and get the following error, An Internal error occured: The req
