Error 1068 Dependency Service Vmware
Deployment Question 0 Sign in to vote Hello there, I am a Systems Engineer trying the dependency service or group failed to start windows 7 network and sharing center to find a fix for the 1068 error:the dependency service or group failed to start I have looked at all the error 1068 windows 10 forums and previous posts with people having similar issues but none of the fixes have worked. Resetting the TCP/IP stack has not fixed this issue &neitherhas system restore. My issue has happened on 3 machines and https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827328 the onlyconnectionI can find is when you connect Windows 7Professionalto a Widows 2003 Domain. There seems to be little documentation on weather you need to upgrade the domain controllers from 2003 to 2008 before attempting to add Windows 7 into the domain. The corruption seems to start once the machine is on the domain and Windows attempts to install any program or run windows updates which is becoming very frustrating. I have created https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/bb191e46-6c4d-4830-9654-0a040892aca5/error-1068-the-dependency-service-or-group-failed-to-start-buisness-enviroment?forum=w7itproinstall multiple hard drive clones so i can revert back to a working state to aid me when trying to work around this. With these Issues outstanding I can not think about upgrading the network from XP & 2003 until these issues are fixed. Can someone else let me know if they have had a similar problem when trying to upgrade thereenvironmentto Windows 7 and server 2008 Regards Anton James Thursday, April 21, 2011 2:03 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hi Anton, Did Windows 7 joined the domain? Have you narrowed down which service failed with error 1068? The error code indicates one service's dependency service or system component fails to start. I suggest checking the following services first. Check service ---------------------- 1. Click Start, type Services.msc in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. 2. In the right pane, double-click Microsoft Network Inspection. 3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, click Apply, click Start, and then click OK. 4. Also check the following services. Function Discovery Resource Publication Desktop Window Manager Session Manager Network Connections Network List Service Network Location Awareness Network Store Interface Service Server TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper If you find any service cannot be started with the error, please let me kn

WLAN AutoConfig service RECOMMENDED: Click here to fix Windows errors and improve system performance We have already seen how to fix limited WiFi connection problems on Windows 8/10. But sometimes you may come around the issue, where your system isn't able to identify or detect any WiFi or wireless network. In some scenarios, it could be a hardware issue which you can verify from the Devices Manager. Here you have to look for whether your wireless driver is working properly or not. In case you find that it is a hardware problem, you should visit the nearest computer repair shop to get fixed. While if you're pretty sure that nothing is wrong on the hardware side, you can check if the Remote Procedure Call (RPC), Windows Connection Manger and WLAN AutoConfig services are running properly in the Services window (Run services.msc to get this). In our case, we found that WLAN AutoConfig service was not working on the system, and we received the following error message: Windows could not start the WLAN Auto Config service on the local computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start. After doing some research on this issue, we came across this solution posted at Microsoft Community which helped us to solve this problem.
