You can check as following steps first check each pc is in the same workgroup. disable the firewall and virus protect in each PC. Ping PC2 from PC1 to ensure the network is ok net view \PC2 from PC1 to check if it is ok. share|improve this answer edited Dec 4 '12 at 7:48 answered Dec 3 '12 at 3:28 ray_linn 1,145613 Firewall and my antivirus are off/disabled. How do I find out a possible unwanted master browser or other reasons for this? Edit: I used the Nirsoft NetBScanner Tool do determine what is the masterbrowser per site. Site A: Some legacy old devices including a windows 2003 member server appear as master browsers. Site B: No master browser. Can that be the solution, to create some master browser on site B?
