I installed all the same versions of MATLAB, Simulink, and various toolboxes to replicate the software on both machines. The laptop has computing power virtually identical to the desktop, and neither computer shows signs of nearing an limits during model execution.I transferred my main research model to my laptop to run, and it runs incredibly slowly (about 30 times slower than the real-time model should run). This model has a host of MATLAB Function Blocks in it. I get an error associated with each one of these blocks upon completion of model execution. The error states:"Error calling generated SFunction, untitled_sfun. Undefined function untitled_sfun' for input arguments of type 'double'." Again, this error is repeated for every MATLAB Function Block in my model. There is a file called untitled_sfun.mexw32 in the folder with my model. I presume that the s-function was built correctly the first time I

Alternatively, you can rename the model with different name and try running it. I am wondering if there is something with the auto-generated MEX-file elec_kers_sfun that is on your path. And my model 'AAF_03.mdl' is a model of the MATLAB R2011b version. It contains stateflow chart. I don't see this message when I run a simulink model which doesn't contain any stateflow charts. Same error message is coming out. But I have already updated the model to R2012b's model through 'Upgrade Advisor'. It has about ~170 subsystems and has a depth (diving into subsystems) of about 6-7. The model also has references to a block-library (no other models) and uses an external dynamic library (dll). The model sometimes runs and sometimes fails with "Error calling generated SFunction" ... "due to insufficient storage". There are computers on which it always fails with this error. My target is simulation, no specific hardware. I have been trying to configure dynamic memory allocations and/or reduce bus sizes so that usage of static variables (stack memory) would decrease. Nothing helps. Any ideas? 0 Comments Show all comments Tags simulink Products No products are associated with this question. Related Content 0 Answers Log In to answer or comment on this question.
