My .html file includes some JS that runs "Android.canPlay();" at certain times. In my app, the function "canPlay()" fires a variable listener. When the variable listener fires, if conditions are met, some http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20976487/javascript-interface-error-uncaught-error-error-calling-method-on-npobject files are renamed (temporary files, that were downloaded with a .tmp additional extension, including the .html file (so it is .html.tmp, with the original .html existing alongside it)) After the renaming happens, the Web View is reloaded (I have tried using both a function and just ".loadUrl()" - both give errors) When time comes to reload the html file in the webview, I get the error: E/Web Consoleļ¹ Uncaught Error: Error calling method on NPObject. at file:////mnt/sdcard/Download/qwerty/playlists/29/2/index.html:206 Line 206 is the "Android.canPlay()" call. Things to note - If I don't rename the files before reloading the webview and instead, rename then from a background service that runs, I don't have this error (although I do get one about running stuff on the WebViewCoreThread) Some code: WebAppInterface public class WebAppInterface { final Context mContext; WebAppInterface(Context c) { mContext = c; } @JavascriptInterface public void canPlay() { mPlaylistReady.changeState(true); } } Variable Listener (gets fired via a listener class) (some bits of code removed e.g. sharedprefences for file locations) @Override public void onStateChange(boolean state) { if (state) { // true // this finds all the files and removes the .tmp extension fileRenamer.removeTmp(Environment.getExternalStoragePublic

When I open any question on the Stack Overflow site, if I open the browser console, I keep getting an error message being continuously printed. So if it's a Flash object then it certainly didn't come from here. –animuson♦ Nov 30 '13 at 21:35 3 @animuson not directly, but it's using third party advertising sites. I just confirmed with low rep account and there is request to this JS file: ad-apac.doubleclick.net/adj/N5295.171779.STACKOVERFLOW.COM/…? and it's spawning more JS files. The origin is most likely the top advertisement (above the question body) which is removed when reaching 200 rep. (hence OP here didn't see it when logged in, having more than 200) –Shadow Wizard Dec 1 '13 at 12:2

I'm running the plugin on Android 4.2.2 with Cordova 2.7 After following each step of your (and Facebooks) readme I started the Simple example. When I pressed Login the following error occurd: Uncaught Error: Error calling method on NPObject. at file://android_asset/www/cordova-2.7.0.js:857 SOLUTION : Right click on the FacebookSDK project - go on the java build path and check android-support-v4.jar (somehow this was unchecked on mine after an android sdk update... ) then just go on Project > clean and rerun the application :) bradyemerson commented Jun 26, 2013 I am receiving the same error when calling FB.login() on Android 4.2.2 with Cordova 2.8. Uncaught Error: Error calling method on NPObject. at file:///android_asset/www/js/cordova-2.8.0.js:863 I've tried the solution you suggested and other FB.xxxx functions work, just not login(). radu-ciobanu commented Jun 26, 2013 I'm getting the same error too. Any solutions? bradyemerson commented Jun 27, 2013 Actually yes, just figured it out. VyseExhale's solution is correct I just misinterpreted it. FacebookSDK Project -> Properties -> Java Build Path -> Order and Export (tab) -> Make sure android-support-v4.jar is checked. Then do a clean. radu-ciobanu commented Jun 27, 2013 Yeap, worked for me also. Thanks! Now I have another issue. I'm not able the get the session working. FB.init response is null all the time. Any guesses? VyseExhale commented Jun 27, 2013 Have you configured your key hashes correctely @ your FB app? AND .. on some (older) android versions, I had to whitelist all facebook domains in the config.xml:
