I can't open the Desktop and after following their instructions to uninstall, reinstall, now the install software also won't open and reinstall. I tried to initiate my Palm Desktop and immediately “Failed to open Address Book Database” message popped up. Not having any choice I had to exit clicking ‘Cancel’. I tried the ‘Hot Sync’ option. It didn’t work, and ‘Sync Expenses’ process continued throughout the day. I didn’t try it before and kept the option disabled in the past. How is it possible to fix the problem as the Address Book Database won’t open? I have even uninstalled the program and installed the latest version of Palm Desktop application, but all my efforts went in vain. I would appreciate your opinion regarding the situation, and I need it badly.
