I got the motivation to try install this after I updated to 3.4.. Anyway, once I found out that it's still possible to use the Twilight Hack and the like (Yes, I know that the Twilight Hack gets deleted after use etc..) I tried putting the necessary files on my SD card to install the homebrew channel. Just for clarification purposes, here's a screenshot of how I've got the files on my card. I think in terms of the Twilight Hack and the type of save I need to use, I've got that down because it seems to start the hack and everything when I walk back as soon as I choose the appropriate save file (TwilightHack2). But as soon as it starts and attempts to look for the boot.dol file, it says something on the lines of "boot.dol not found, looking for boot.elf. Can't find boot.elf. Then it leaves a message saying hanging or whatever. Initially I had the "wiiload" folder that came in the HBC package, but after some Googling someone suggested just leaving the boot.dol on it's own. Same problem. If I have got something completely wrong here, forgive my ignorance. But a part of me is suspecting the SD card, but then I question how I could get to the point of starting the hack. So if anyone's been in a similar situation or knows what's going on I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks. mrsparkle-, Dec 12, 2008 Top #1 Member kitt050383 GBAtemp Advanced Fan Joined: Aug 11, 2008 Messages: 648 Featured Posts: 0 Location: New Jersey Country: Quoted from QUOTE: Troubleshooting * If you get an error such as Failed to read boot.elf or boot.dol (-1), your SD card may not be formatted as FAT16. Try ESR DVD(v)-Direct (normal not "off"-Version). "failed to load launchelf.cnf" is because of you didn't configured ule yet (which is normally "BOOT.ELF" in the given path). But you don't need to, for what you want to do. E PSFLoader::Load() failed: unknown magic (0x0) E Loading 'C:\Users\SirJasonB\Desktop\NCAA.Football.14.PS3-PROTON\FIX\USRDIR\EBOOT.BIN' failed There is one bin file with it I tried to load. Also on the right side it says illegal address. Is it just that rpcs3 want play it or could it be that someone got the files wrong? Am I doing something wrong? Oh do you have to have the PS3 bios for rpcs3 or what? THANKS tambry commented Oct 9, 2015 "I head that some commercial game that doesn't require much will run on rpcs3" Well then, let's try to run a very complicated 3D game, because that will surely work. It would actually help us, if you posted the log file, as described here. Also it seems you haven't read the FAQ, which also states, that almost all commercial games wont work, except those listed here, which are mostly very simple 2D/2.5D games. "Oh do you have to have the PS3 bios for rpcs3 or what?" RPCS3 is a HLE emulator, which means that no BIOS/FW files are required. "Also on the right side it says illegal address." Well, it obviously says "Debugger" on the sub-window and the illegal addresses are in the assembly output, which obviously wont show anything until you use it properly and are running/debu
