No luck GOPbaptist January 2013 edited January 2013 in Troubleshooting Hi. I have a D-Link DCS-5222L. I've been trying so many different configurations and rtsp links and the farthest I've gotten was for it to show a black box with a play button. It looks like it tries to load something for a few seconds, then it gives up. I'm out of ideas. I am able to stream using VLC so I'm not sure what else to try. Thanks Comments GOPbaptist January 2013 I forgot to mention my rtsp urlrtsp://gopbaptist.no-ip.org/play1.sdp Angelcam_Robert January 2013 Hi, the address gopbaptist.no-ip.org is unreachable... GOPbaptist January 2013 It may be because nothing is set to port 80. Try gopbaptist.no-ip.org:1234 Angelcam_Robert January 2013 Port 1234 is open but there is no reply. Try to forward the port 1234 to the RTSP port of the camera. Also open the port 554 in the admin panel of the camera. GOPbaptist January 2013 I changed 554 to 5554. Both 1234 and 5554 are forwarded on the router. In the camera settings I have RTSP setup for 5554 and it's enabled. I wonder why you can't get to 1234. I'm at work and I can get to you using my phone over LTE. It should prompt you for username/pw Angelcam_Robert January 2013 I can confirm that port is open and something is listening the both ports but nothing replies. Try to use VLC and connect to the camera if it works from your side. GOPbaptist January 2013 I just tried to connect to rtsp://68.34.105.113:5554/play1.sdp using VLCIt actually asked me to authenticate but then it gave the below error:VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://68.34.105.113:5554/play1.sdp'. Check the log for details.I don't know where the log is. Angelcam_Robert January 2013 It works now for me. So either disable the authentication or send me by email credentials.
