This box is placed between Internet and my final mail server (MS Exchange). LDAP_route feture was used to validate recipients addresses against Exchange server and bounce messages sended to non-existing users. All have worked fine until I have updated this box to Debian 7 (Wheezy). Now running "sendmail -bt" and issuing command "/map ldapmra address@mydomain.com" returns: ADDRESS TEST MODE (ruleset 3 NOT automatically invoked) Enter

Menu Widgets Search LDAP issue withsendmail For some reason, I suddenly stopped receiving email notifications of my voicemail from my trixbox server. A bit of hunting around, I discovered the following error in the logs, or when I tried to manually send mail using sendmail: 451 4.3.5 Error getting LDAP results in map ldapsx: Unknown error 325
sxadmin-scalix@scalix... Deferred: 451 4.3.5 Error getting LDAP results in map ldapsx: Unknown error 325
All of this occurred after I changed my DNS suffix on my new router. To fix the problem, I updated the OMHOSTNAME setting in /etc/opt/scalix/instance.cfg to what the fully-qualified name was et voila! All working when I use the following test code: echo "Subject: test" | /usr/lib/sendmail -v my@email.com Like this:Like Loading... Well here's my problem. I haven't been recieveing any email (once again) in Outlook, besides that sent from myself. Plus, I can send email. My Outlook version is 2003 I don't have any virii or spyware/adware. So I don't know what to do manickernel helped me before, but that seems to have been a temporary measurement. How do you people know so much about Outlook anyway? Maybe there is a course or something titled "How to defeat Outlook, the beast from Microsoft." that would enable me to control this thing and tell it when I want to recieve mail and where to put it. Maybe I should just jump over to Thunderbird... [Threat supposed to scare Microsoft into wanting to help me] Loadsgood. Manip May 09, 2005 at1:27AM I've never had an issue with Outlook, and frankly it sounds like a problem with your mail server not with Outlook. Loadsgood What is youranswer? My ISP says that because I can recieve email (only from myself) and send it, that means it can't possibly be their problem (so they said...) EDIT:Spellings wrong, fixeds. If only I could access the mail server @ my ISP. Loadsgood. figuerres ??? May 09, 2005 at1:53AM Loadsgood wrote: Manip wrote: I've never had an issue with Outlook, and frankly it sounds like a problem
