This data has text and images. In my server I'm using Base64 to http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/482810/error-retrieving-large-data-from-server-and-parse.html code the images and return them in a JSON string. This way I only need a single request to get all the data, but its result is really large. If I try to access WWW.text it takes some seconds to process it. To parse the JSON I'm using SimpleJSON.JSON.Parse. Since this takes some time to finish I decided to use it in a different Thread. My problem is accessing WWW.text. If I do it inside the Thread I get this error: get_isDone can only be called from the main thread And if I use it outside the Thread my application stops for several seconds. This is my code: void OnGUI(){ if(catalogWWW == null){ catalogWWW = new WWW(myURL); } if(!catalogWWW.isDone || parseJSONStatus <2) updateProgressBar(); if(catalogWWW.isDone){ if(parseJSONStatus == 0){ parseJSONStatus = 1; Thread t = new Thread(parseWWWJSON); t.Start(catalogWWW); } if(parseJSONStatus == 2){ Debug.Log("FINISHED!"); } } } public void parseWWWJSON(object data) { catalogData = SimpleJSON.JSON.Parse(((WWW)data).text); parseJSONStatus = 2; } With this code I get the error: get_isDone can only be called from t

The main issue seems to be retrieving data from the server. The following example code works on all browsers > IE7 $scope.getEntity = function (id, callback) { $http.get('/views/entities/' + id). success(function(data) { $scope.entity = data; callback(); }). error(function(data) { $window.location.href = '/error'; }); }; When this fires in error retrieving data IE7 it always ends up throwing an error with an undefined data parameter and redirects to the error page. Any ideas why this would be happening? It's only isolated to IE7 as it works fine in all other browsers. angularjs ajax internet-explorer-7 share|improve this question asked May 13 at 12:52 Tom Miller 899 2 Have you checked this? code.angularjs.org/1.2.28/docs/guide/ie –estus May 13 at 13:00 @estus Thanks I have been through that document. Angular seems to be working ok but when I call one of our service endpoints it fails for some reason. Only in IE7. –Tom Miller May 13 at 13:03 1 And you checked the section regarding JSON.stringify, didn't you? Nobody except you knows what your exact setup is. You may consider recreating the issue in plunker and sharing it, it is not something that can be solved blindly. –estus May 13 at 13:08 @estus Your absolutely right. I did add the polyfill script but I removed it as I didn't think it worked. Added it back in and it works now. Happy to mark this as the answer. –Tom Miller May 13 at 13:26 Glad it worked for you. –estus May 13 at 1
returns "Error retrieving EPG data!". There are no listings returned at all. Below is the xvmc.log related to the request and I attached the JSON that is returned from the server. I was able to switch to SOAP and it worked, but took several minutes to process. Any ideas? Everything was fine several days ago and nothing in the configuration in NextPVR has changed. 12:51:46 T:2900173904 NOTICE: start date 2015-09-20 12:45:00.981484 12:51:46 T:2900173904 NOTICE: atz 14400 12:51:46 T:2900173904 NOTICE: getGuideInfo start 12:51:46 T:2900173904 NOTICE: clean old files for guideListing-*.p 12:51:46 T:2900173904 NOTICE: JSON 12:51:46 T:2900173904 NOTICE: Processing json listings start 12:51:46 T:2900173904 NOTICE: http://10.0.0.4:8866/public/guideservice/listing?sid=a2b51ab79651485f8618a8a49fee7311&stime=1442767500&etime=1442774699 12:51:48 T:2900173904 NOTICE: Server: Microsoft-Cassini/1.0.0.0 Date: Sun, 20 Sep 2015 16:51:49 GMT X-AspNet-Version: 4.0.30319 Cache-Control: no-cache Pragma: no-cache Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 798134 Connection: Close mvallevand2015-09-20, 05:13 PMI'd need to see the kodi.log, the json seems well-formed, however since I did just do an update does it work if you click the refresh data button, sometimes there is a change in cached data. Ok good I do see an error in the logs that I will look at just in case. Also you are quite a few years back on your RPi updates things should be better with newer versions Also you seem to have every station mappped with lots of unknowns. On a PC it doesn't matter much but removing those extra hundreds of stations that will you never watch will make a big difference on smaller machines.
