Been trying to figure out where the problems lie, and according to the debug logs it appears to be recurring problems getting information from theTVDB.The main problems seem to arise in shows that have a significant number of episodes - The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, even The Simpsons. If I can get them to add at all they eventually fall over with "TVDB timed out, unable to create the episode" or "TVDB threw up an error" type errors, for files that definitely exist and never used to have any problem with. I can't seem to scrape more than 22 episodes for the Simpsons, and the Daily Show falls over after about 100 episodes.Has anything significant changed with the tvDB over the last week/10 days? Is there database maintenance going on I should know about? Have these three shows been edited recently which could lead to errors?Any help would be great - thanksC Top crzykidd Site Admin Posts: 738 Joined: Sat Feb 16, 2008 4:48 pm Re: Continual TVDB timeouts, problems scraping series Quote Postby crzykidd » Fri Apr 15, 2011 10:28 pm We have been making changes to the backend services. However I just made a back up of my sickbeard db and then told it to bulk add my directory. I have 297 shows, with over 19k episodes. It is currently downloading, but I have seen no errors yet. can you give some details on what errors are showing up? Also are you running the latest build of sickbeard? thetvdb.com Site Admin Top holygrail4 Posts: 12 Joined: Wed Jul 29, 2009 12:07 am Re: Continual TVDB timeouts, problems scraping series Quote Postby holygrail4 » Fri
perhaps no longer has) a TVDB entry (http://thetvdb.com/?tab=seasonall&id=280273&lid=7). It is being mixed up with the start of the Comedy Central show of the same name (https://trakt.tv/shows/idiotsitter-2016) whose pilot episode (https://trakt.tv/shows/idiotsitter-2016/seasons/1/episodes/1) aired on Jan 14, 2016. 2 votes Vote Vote Vote Vote Sign in prestine Your name Your email address Check! invalid email (thinking…) Reset or sign in with UserVoice password Forgot password? In any case, I removed 2×01. Tweet 1 comment Add a comment… Sign in prestine Your name Your email address Check! invalid email (thinking…) Reset or sign in with UserVoice password Forgot password?
