KES 8 on https://forum.kaspersky.com/lofiversion/index.php/t264065.html Windows 7 clients in domain, after upgrade of KSC server hardware. All clients successful except one, generates MSI error 1603. Logs are attached, except the verbose install log which is too big to attach after compression (excerpt included below).Have tried all the error - usual solutions of KRT before install, both standalone and network installations, cleaning computer, check for virus or rootkit. Problem appears to be that a process cannot be created for avp.exe near end of installation.Tried installing the MSI directly in verbose logging mode, the error - 1603 log results are very smilar to the Kaspersky logs. Have visited the Microsoft MSI troubleshooting web site, run the FixIt, checked short file names and MaxFileNum = 14 in registry, all suggested fixes, everything looks ok. Other MSI installers run with no problem. Here is an excerpt from Kaspersky verbose install log at failure point.
