NewsArchive01-08-2001, 01:00 AMHello, I am really under the gun to get some software out the door, so naturally I am experiencing install problems. I have a VB 6.0 package that will install and run on W98, W95, and ME when I use ISE 3.03. The problem lies on NT machines. The install will run without errors. However, when I try to run my program, I get the following message when attempting to write to a particular table in my database: Run-Time error -2147217911 (80040e09): Cannot update. Database or object is read-only." Can anyone give me and ideas/clues/etc to help me get this working on NT? Thanks in advance for any help, Rob NewsArchive01-08-2001, 01:00 AMIt's someting to do with your code. Look for KB article Q253673 at msdn.microsoft.com. Looks like a known issue of theirs. <.> wrote in message news:3a59db9a$1@12.41.20.38... > Hello, > > I am really under the gun to get some software out the door, so naturally I > am experiencing install problems.
