Join Now when ever i am trying to login to my server with my event id 40960 lsasrv domain credentials it says(windows machine) windows can not connect to this domain or either the domain controller the security system detected an authentication error for the server cifs/servername is down(which is not ) & i am getting this error in event viewer The Security System detected an authentication error for the server LDAP/prod01.xyz.com/prod.xyz.com@PROD.XYZ.COM. lsasrv 40960 automatically locked The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was "The attempted logon is invalid. This is either due to a bad username or authentication information. (0xc000006d)". I would try rebooting. I know it's probably not what you want it to do with the production but you might need to. Off hours of course. Issue is one member server (Windows Server 2003 SP2) is loosing connection from the domain several times a day. Also a system lag is reported from the users about this particular server. We have reconnected the server to the domain repeatedly and checked all the services concerned with the functioning of AD. But still the issue is going on. There was no upgrades or any kind of changes happened recently. Checked and found that all TCP/IP connection are good with MTU: 1500. All DNS entries are correct for the server.
