However, my problem is different from other questions and answers. My HP 1200 powers up normally and will print a good test page. the GO button and all three lights on.Door closed, with cartridge inside,no jamed paper.Cartridges are good working in another known good 1200.Have changed scanner, formatter, power board, fuser alternaterly with another known good 1200 that still works fine, but this one nothing changed, all lights on still. It http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/33011 drives me crazy!Any idea?Is there anything that I forgot to and should try? This 1200 was good before I mailed to someone else half year ago.But the right cover was broken during the delivery,so it was sent back to me.Since then the problem http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/58129-3-laserjet-1200-printer-blinking-yellow-continuously-problem happens till now. Please help me,and forgive my poor English.Thanks. There are three contacks and can find nothing wrong.I'm deeply desperate. - healthup 0 I also encounter the same problem, same as your i swap almost everthing with a workable 1200, still the orange light blinking.Frust--i dismantle the whole printer and even measure evry cable, sensor for connectivity..put back - still the same..Finally i observed the 3 connector pin to the catridge..and found there is another metal pin (inside the gear) - this pin must be the ground as this pin connected to the chassis. The pin can be located at RH of the printer - beside the fan., take out all the screw, slowly take out the gear ..and you can see the pin.
