leads me to believe this isn't going to be good!). The lights I have are:Toner Light: No LightAttention http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/56265 Light: Solid Amber/OrangeReady Light: Blinking GreenGo Button Light: Blinking GreenI've done a power cycle several times leaving the printer off a couple mins each time. Once back on, I can't print a test page or clear the lights. I've changed toners twice and I don't see any paper jams. I'm thinking it's something serious as these lights don't appear in the hp laserjet manual. Thanks,MePH Respond to this 0 Did you try upgrading the firmware on the HP website?Good Luck ! by mrcjr1234 on May 29, 2008 at 9:22am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Well there is no firmware upgrade for this model (unless someone provides a link, I didn't see it on the website). You can try a cold reset or even an hp laserjet 1320 NVRAM reset. (though that'll clear the network settings, & the NVRAM reset will clear serial #, page counts from the configuration page).Hold down the go button as you power on to do either reset. Let go after 5-15 sec. for a Cold Reset. Hold for more then 20sec. for a NVRAM reset. It might be the formatter (firmware related too) but there is no firmware DIMM, so replacing the formatter will replace the firmware. You can try an engine test too, though its a funky model where according the book the formatter has to be connected & you need to remove the left side cover, override the door switch & hit the button (right below the formatter). by Sharpie on May 29, 2008 at 11:01am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 MePHDid you find a solution for this problem?
