ok. Pls. help me solving this problem, i have been blamed by the company bout this trouble. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!!! Respond to this 1 Our client't laserjet 4350 is having a paper jam problem.I have disassembled the http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c00263792 system and could not find and paper.Pls will need preferred solutions to the problem. by unknown on May 12, 2008 at 8:08am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 First off you need to do a half test. Put a sheet of paper on the manual feeder and run a config page. When the back edge is almost all the way in, lift the top cover to stop printing and remove the toner and look at the image on the paper below. If the http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/39269 defect is there and the dots are black spots and not missing toner spots, then the issue is the toner cartridge, contrary to using another one. If the defect is not there, the issue is the fuser film. Look at it logically. It can not be the transfer roller since that only attracts the toner from the drum to the paper and is on the back side of the paper. It can not be the laser/scanner since that will cause void areas of toner, but not cause extra toner on the paper. Therefore, there are only two things which can cause spots on the printed side and they are the toner cartrdige and the fuser film sleeve. The logical question I ask are the toners OEM HP or aftermarket. I have seen a ton of aftermarket toners for the 4300 series which are just plain garbarge. by dmzcompute on Jun 25, 2006 at 7:49pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Hi there,I know dmz's half test suggestion was written back in '06, but I saw a couple recent posts so hopefully this topic isn't completely dead. The original poster seemed to suffer from using bad remanufactured toner cartridges, so the solution involving fuser stuff wasn't mentioned. We tried the half test on our HP LJ 4350 and the ghosting / smudge issue doesn't show up on the sheet when I remove the toner, so it looks like our smudging issue comes from our fuser. We use OEM toners and I've tried installin
