Do all the lights still stay on, do some flash? by Leslie on Jun 4, 2003 at 8:48am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 If all the lights are still on after go, you secondary error shows a rom/ram failure. If you have added any additional memory, take it out and try powering on without it. check the connections on the formatter. make sure they are not loose. by Leslie on Jun 4, 2003 at 8:52am Add comment Please sign in to http://fixyourownprinter.com/posts/10380 comment 0 Ok i guess i found that the secondary error shows the two little light still on and the big light is off, what does that means? anybody by Rick on Jun 4, 2003 at 8:53am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Do i have hold when i press on the go button or just press and let go? cause if i do press and hold it gives me the two small lights on and the big light off, and if i just press on it and let go still all three still on by Rick on Jun 4, 2003 at 9:05am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 press and HOLD the GO button to see the secondary error message.2 lights on means a motor error. check your conections to your motor. I dont know if this site has a motor kit, if the connections dont fix it youll have to replace the motor. by Leslie on Jun 4, 2003 at 9:32am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I to have the 3 solid light error message in secondary test mode. However, my problem is different from other questions and answers. My HP 1200 powers up normally and will print a good test page. After the printer has sat idle for about 20 mins the 3 solid lights appear. I have reseated the four cables as per HP website. But that did not resolve the issue. Any help would be appreciated. by poltash on Mar 12, 2006 at
not come online at all. After the initialization sequence, it sounds like it's going to come back on, but after the initialization all the lights come on and stay on (not blinking). I have taken the http://fixyourownprinter.com/posts/25647 whole thing apart and checked everywhere for worn-out parts or broken parts but did not find any. It was also recommended that I change the formatter board, but even after changing the board nothing happens. Please help! If someone has any suggestion I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Respond to this 0 When all the lights come on, you need to press the button and report back what lights are on solid or blinking. by dmzcompute on hp laserjet Dec 13, 2004 at 7:36pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 hp laserjet 1200 fatal error : All Laserjet Error code : http://www.geocities.com/printer_lab/errorcode/errorcode.htm by unknown on Dec 13, 2004 at 9:20pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 after one page printing all leds going on. by Anonymous on Sep 29, 2007 at 5:17am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Follow the previously posted instructions to get the secondary error code, hp laserjet 1200 (light pattern), we need the secondary code to tell what's wrong. by Stephen on Sep 29, 2007 at 9:28am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 all lights on ,press and hold big button to get secondary error light message . Most common fault is fuser heating burnt . by unknown on Oct 2, 2007 at 10:07pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I also got this fatal error on my HP LaserJet 1200 printer. All lights were on. After unplugging the printer and letting it sit while I had lunch...I plugged it back in and it sounded like it is going to work but then all the lights come on again. So the next thing I did was while it was plugged in...opened the front door where the toner goes in, took out the toner, then took off the side cover and removed the memory stick...put the stick back in, the toner back in...replaced covers and it worked. by unknown on Jul 30, 2009 at 7:52am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Hi, My laserjet 1200 prints one page perfectly. while printing this page all the lights come on, and it never prints a second or subsequent page. When I press the large lit up button the lights all go off, and when I let go, they all come on again.
