It won't even print the test document for the computer we attached it to. We've tried shutting it off, re-installing the printer. Nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions dchiass Posted on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 - 3:10 pm: My hard-drive packed it in so my h/w guru installed a new hd plus a new install of 98SE. When I first start my PC, I hp laserjet get the following error message flashing on my HP 4 Plus laser printer "22 PAR IO Error". But if I shut off the HP & restart the error goes away & everthing is 100% again. Printer works.. This HP error did not happen before I lost my hard drive. BTW, my h/w guy did not have my printer at his shop at the time of the new install. I hp laserjet 4 also do not have the original disks that came with the printer so if it is a driver prob then I will need to find a link to get it from. Any ideas what I should do? Not a stopper but wud like to get it so the error does not appear. THANKS.
