Hp Laserjet 4200 Error 13.06
a new cartridge but still jams HELP ! Respond to this 0 Open the back and have the paper come out in face up orientation. If people complain set the default in the print driver to print pages in reverse order. Now see if you get the same issue. If not then it has to be the back cover or the facedown exit parts. by dmzcompute on Oct 3, 2006 at 2:50pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Could be the swing plate assy. that drives the fuser. We recently added a repair kit that has the swing plate and fuser gears, bushing and simplified instructions. http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/kits/hp/K91 by moe on Oct 3, 2006 at 3:42pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Yeah, I've had the swing plate assm cause that error code a couple times now. by wlulham on Oct 4, 2006 at 1:38pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 There is a service note covering swing plate replacement on 4250/4350 printers.Only a certain serial number range is covered. Most covered printers are now out of warranty. There is also a service note for swing plate replacement on the 4345mfp series, same stipulations as above.I've replaced swing plates in about 30 4250's in the past few months.1-3-2007, here's an update:I just checked the expiration date for the 4250/4350 swing plate service note, it is now listed as: 2008-01-01.I'm reasonably sure it was previously listed as 2006-12-31. by Stephen on Oct 7, 2006 at 6:05am Add comment Please sign in to comment I have the same symptoms on an HP LJ 4300....will this kit work on the 4300? Is there a similar kit for the 4300? - Anonymous 0 Thanks for all your responces fitted swing plate but still has same problem any more ideas. by utl on Oct 19, 2006 at 2:29am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Did you try having it come out the back? You did not respond to my post and it would help to know if it still jams when coming out the back faceup rather than facedown. by dmzcompute on Oct 19, 2006 at 5:13am Add comment Please sign in to comment Sorry for no repley no it does not jam when coming out the back face up only on face down. - utl 0 If you replaced the paper delivery assembly, then the only thing left would be the back flip down cover itself if it does not jam when feeding out the rear. by dmzcompute on Oct 19, 2006 at 3:59pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 NEW: tray2 tires, PFA, PF Sol, Reg asy, fuser, clean all sensors. JAMPRINTER COULD NOT AUTOMATICALLY EJECT PAPERWhen had similar problems a few weeks ago, I replaced the pickup rollers with a kit purchased from this site, but the problem has started up again, fairly regularly (generally after printing a few dozen pages). Is there a suggested repair for this problem that isn't especially difficult? For example, does the fuser need to be replaced?Any insight will be gratefully received. Respond to this 0 The symptoms you describe would indicate a sticking paper feed solenoid. That starts happening after the solenoid has heated up and the disintegrated damper material under the strike plate gets sticky from the heat. This allows the pickup roller to turn continuously causing jamming when the paper hits the sensor out of sync.Solution is to remove the top and right front cover to access the http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/41420 solenoid which sits near the front and is held on by one screw. Remove the plate and spring (be careful not to lose the spring). Scrape off the goo and clean the plate. We use a thin sticky back felt as a replacement. It will never fail http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/specials/misc/tools/S97 by moe on Feb 4, 2013 at 9:28am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Thanks, Moe! I'm about to order the replacement... by emendelson on Feb 4, 2013 at 11:38am Add comment Please sign in to comment http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/74947 0 Forgot to ask: are there instructions available for removing the top and right front cover on a LaserJet 4200? Thanks! by emendelson on Feb 4, 2013 at 11:41am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 And I forgot to mention: I only use Tray 2 on this printer, never Tray 1, but the errors are still listed as Tray 1. (And I only use HP-brand paper.) Does this affect the advice to replace that solenoid? by emendelson on Feb 4, 2013 at 11:56am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Top cover removal: Slide the back right side cover off. Remove the 2 screws at the back of the metal formatter box and slide the formatter box back and out. Two screws under the lid. pop the arm loose from the lid cover on the right side and let it drop down. Pop the small cover off the top at the back and there are 2 more screws underneath. Open the back door and lift the top off. Right side cover removal: Pull the drawer out. There is a plastic latch at the right side near the top and two on the left with triangle symbols pointing at them. Pop them with a pocket screwdriver. Pivot the top of the panel outwards and lift off. Note: When reinstalling, make sure you slot the tabs on the bottom in first and then make sure the on/off switch notch slides onto the metal rod. by moe on Feb 4, 2013 at 3:53pm Add comment Please s
