Internal Error 2343 Msi
error message in ccmsetup.log. When I look in client.mis.log I can see this error message:Property(S): SmsDetectColocationDowngrade_ErrorMessage = A newer version internal error 2343 wise of the SMS Management Point is installed. Cannot continue installing this version of the client.I'm trying to install the sccm client on a PC, no a server. Package Development Windows Installer (MSI) Windows Installer (MSI) Error Messages I am capturing Trend Micro OfficeScan Corporate Edition Minor Release, 5.58 on Windows XP Pro SP1 using Wise Package Studio 5 and http://www.itninja.com/question/internal-error-2343 receive this popup error [:@] when running the successfully compiled MSI: Internal Error http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/internal-error-2343 2343. As the popup is on the screen, I look and the path of C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan Client does not exist yet. Not sure if it's suppose to or not. According to the MSI the INI files are suppose to be in C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan Client. I have tried removing the INI files internal error from the install and still get the error. As far as I can tell the INI files are not in C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\OfficeScan Client after the original installation finishes using the Trend setup method.
