Got Gedit 3 error crash http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?145629-HELP-!!-Got-Gedit-3-error-crash-AGAIN-!-My-Acad-LT-2002-HAS-to-be-fixed-! AGAIN ! My Acad LT 2002 HAS to be fixed ! I had help on this before and now after some computer work, it's doing it again. I have Windows XP Pro. My saved text info said that after installing "SP1 (k030ltss1_k044_aclt_unl) and Gedit3 (acltk044_k047unl) patches in compatability mode - it works and doesn't have to be in compatability mode anymore". 1> First, I don't remember running two patches. 2> I am now into SP3 on this machine and that info started off with "SP1. Does it make any difference to be in SP3? 3> How do I run Acad in compatability mode and, if necessary, how do I get back into SP1? 4> When trying that k047 file again I got an error "Not a valid Win32 application". That stopped me dead! How can I fix that? An address note in that file was: "http://forums.autodesk.com/autodesk/attachments/autodesk/43/92360/1/acltk044-k047unl.EXE' I presume that is where I download the k047 (is it a Win32?) .... Many thanks in advance for your help!! it showed up, and Autodesk never provided a permanent fix: some users had some http://ltisacad.blogspot.com/2007/09/gedit-or-gedit-3-error-messages.html luck turning off video card hardware acceleration but most of us never http://onubuntu.blogspot.com/2014/08/how-to-fix-autocad-lt-2002-gedit-3-error.html really found a fix. It was often, but not exclusively triggered by a Pan or Zoom function.LT2004 required the Service Patch to be installed to remove the symptom/cause noted above. If you have done this or are using a version of LT higher than 2004 and you still internal error get this problem, so far it's been solely attributed to a conflict on your PC with another software package, and often requires that software package to be removed or updated.Current solutions can be found at these following links:Gedit3 Topic PageAutodesk SupportAutodesk DiscussionGoogle Search ◦ GEDIT or GEDIT 3 Error messages Posted by About Us at Saturday, September 08, 2007 autocad internal error Labels: TroubleShooting Newer Post Older Post Home Welcome to our Blog page About Us This Blog provides Autocad/LT tips, suggestions, ideas, news, information, and more aimed at all AutoCAD/LT end users interested in learning and mastering more of the sofware package we all use daily. can be caused by drivers, or conflicts with certain software. Removing the software should also make the issue go away, if you can identify it. And sometimes you just can't remove the software causing the problem. So here's a method worth a try. First, you'll need to identify whether your AutoCAD LT 2002 has Service Pack 1 installed. From the AutoCAD command line enter "._vernum" (without quotes) and you should get something similar to _VERNUM = "K.0.44" (read only). If it reads K.0.30 then you'll need to install Service Pack 1 first. Next, proceed to install the patch to fix this error. Some sites refer to it as Service Pack 2. Retry your AutoCAD LT 2002. The bug should go away now. Good Luck. tags: desktop, windows Newer Post Older Post Home Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom) Loading...
