There Was An Error During Initialization. An Internal Error Occurred Adobe Reader
file from a website Answer ID 5858 | Published 09/21/2009 12:00 AM | Updated 03/20/2012 03:45 PM "Failed to load application resource (internal error)" when opening a PDF file from a website Problem: When opening a PDF file from a website, the following error may appear: "Failed to load application resource (internal error) " Cause: PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise 6 requires the OpenSSL Shared Library to open PDF files acrobat reader on the web. This third party component is used by other applications and has been installed in a location accessible by a Windows Path Variable. When loading a PDF file, PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise calls for the library and Windows loads the most the accessible version, which is not the one that PDF Pro installed. Solution: Download and install a new DLL file for PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise 6. This will stop PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise from loading the wrong OpenSSL Shared Library. Close PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise and any internet browser. Click here to download a zip file containing the new DLL file. Save this ZIP file to a location that is easily accessible. Open "My Computer" or "Computer" from the Windows Start menu and navigate to the installation location of PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise 6. Here is the default location: C:\Program Files\Nuance\PDF Professional 6\bin\ RECOMMENDED: Rename the file "PlusCore.dll" to something else, such as "PlusCore.old". Open the downloaded "PlusCore-LoadLibErr-Fix.zip" file. Copy the new "PlusCore.dll" file from the download to the PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise installation BIN folder. You should now be able to open PDF files from the internet without receiving an error. Details Answer ID 5858 Products PDF 6 Professional Categories Activatio

At this stage?"I see the same thing with folks that have the fully loaded Adobe Pro tools. Your computer system has a Program Defulat that is trying to wrest control of .pdf filetype files away from QB.Instead of the pdf report button (how this looked at the time you reconciled), change to the other radio button to use the report that is more like a regular QB report, and you can Save that as pdf, if you need to, but at least it should open for you.Your Windows system created this conflict.
